After your arrival in Lima you get picked up at the airport and are brought to your hotel. You then explore the city beginning with the city district of Miraflores, then San Isidro, and finally to the historical parts like the city center and the San Francisco Convent.
In the early morning you will be picked up at your hotel and brought to the bus terminal in Lima. In a comfortable bus you ride south until you reach town of Paracas. From here you start a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands. Afterward you are brought to your hotel, which is situated in the nearby oasis, Huacachina.
After breakfast you drive to Nasca. Upon arrival you are picked up and are brought to the small airport to start a 30-minute flyover of the legendary Nasca-lines, admiring the enormous animal and human figures by air.
The morning you can be spent as you please. In case you couldn´t do the flyover the day before, you have another chance to do it this morning. Afterwards you start a 550km/342mi bus ride to Arequipa where you arrive in the evening and are brought to your hotel.
In the morning you enjoy a city tour in Arequipa. The indisputable highlight of this tour is the visit to the mystical Santa Catalina Convent, but you also visit the center, the main square, and the cathedral.
Today you visit the impressive Colca Canyon which is one of the deepest in the world with an altitude difference of 3,000m/9,842ft. While you are riding through the impressive landscapes of the Salinas National Reserve and Aguas Blancas, passing an altitude of 4,800m/15,748ft, you will have the opportunity to see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in the wild. For lunch you visit the city of Chivay, where you can relax.
After an early breakfast you drive to “Cruz del Condor“, a lookout point at an altitude of 3,700m/12,139ft on the edge of the Colca Canyon, where you have a marvelous view of Río Colca, situated in the valley at a mere 1,700m/5,577ft. From here we may observe the majestic king of the Andes rising up in the morning sun, the condor. Afterward you drive to Puno.
Today you go on a full-day boat excursion on Lake Titicaca. During the visit to the floating reed islands – the islands of the Uros- you learn about the traditional way of living of the Uros culture and get to know how the islands were built. You also get the unique opportunity to take a ride in one of the famous “totora boats”. Afterward you go to Taquile Island where you have lunch. The island is famous for its “knitting men”. Enjoy the spectacular view over Lake Titicaca before you return to Puno in the afternoon.
Early in the morning you are brought to the bus station where you depart on a comfortable tourist bus that takes you to Cusco. On the long, but comfortable, ride you will take several stops to visit the Temple of Raqchi, the Andahuayllas Church, and the “Museo de la Cultura Pukara”. In the early evening you arrive in Cusco and are brought to your hotel.
After breakfast you go on a half-day city tour. On the tour you visit the magnificent “Plaza de Armas“ and the beautiful Coricancha Cathedral. Afterwards you continue to the famous “Piedra de 12 Angulos“ and to some impressive ruins close to Cusco, such as the huge “Saqusayhuaman“ fortress. After lunch you have the rest of the day free to enjoy the exceptional atmosphere of this unique city.
Today you go on a tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You visit Chinchero, the salt terraces of Maras, and the archeology complex of Moray. In the afternoon you reach your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
In the morning you visit the ruins in Ollantaytambo before starting your train ride to Aguas Calientes. Once arrive you are welcomed and are brought to your hotel.
You start the day with a ride to the world famous ruins of Machu Picchu. During the tour through the citadel, you visit many highlights such as the commanding main square, the round tower, the holy solar clock, the royal chambers, or the Temple of the Three Windows. After the tour, you have some free time to stroll through these mystical ruins and enjoy the incredible atmosphere before you head back to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon. By train you ride back to Poroy, where you are picked up and brought to your Hotel.
This day you can spend as you please.
Transfer to the airport to start your travels home or to your next travel destination.
